Plymouth Rock Assurance New Employee Orientation

One of my freelance projects was redesigning the presentation templates for Plymouth Rock Assurance’s 10-day new hire orientation program. The goal was to modernize and standardize the templates used across 15 different decks.

Over time, the decks hae been edited by contributors across the organizations, which lead to a mix of graphic styles, imagery, fonts, icons, and typography. Many of these elements had drifted away from the company’s established brand guidelines. On top of that, multiple slide masters had been unintentionally created along the way, which made the decks harder to maintain and inconsistent from a PowerPoint best-practices standpoint.

My role was to streamline everything into a unified system that presented the company clearly and consistently to new employees. Working within a tight two-week timeline, I rebuilt the slide masters, standardized layouts and aligned the visual elements with the brand guidelines.

To keep the project moving quickly while maintaining consistency, I implemented a shared icon system using Google’s Material icons, giving the decks a cohesive visual language across the entire orientation program.
